1. Clean the Exterior and Interior Filters of the Equipment
After each use of the high-pressure washer, the exterior of the equipment should be cleaned promptly to remove surface dirt, water stains, and residual cleaning agents. A damp cloth can be used to wipe the body of the machine, but care should be taken to prevent water from entering the internal electrical components or the engine of the equipment. At the same time, clean the internal filters of the equipment regularly to prevent impurities from clogging the filters and affecting the performance of the equipment. The cleaning frequency of the filters depends on the usage environment and water quality. Generally, it is recommended to clean them once every 5 - 10 hours of use. When cleaning, remove the filter, rinse it with clean water, and then let it dry or blow it dry with compressed air before reinstalling it into the equipment.
2. Inspection and Replacement of Wearing Parts
Some components of the high-pressure washer, such as the high-pressure water gun nozzle, high-pressure water hose, sealing rings, etc., are wearing parts and may experience wear, aging, or damage during long-term use. Regularly check the condition of these wearing parts. If it is found that the nozzle is severely worn and affects the cleaning effect, the water hose has cracks or leaks, or the sealing ring is aged and loses its sealing function, the corresponding parts should be replaced promptly. When replacing wearing parts, choose original accessories that match the equipment model or reliable compatible accessories to ensure the normal operation and performance of the equipment are not affected.
3. Storage Precautions
When the high-pressure washer is not to be used for a long time, it needs to be stored properly. First, drain all the water inside the equipment. This can be done by starting the equipment and aiming the high-pressure water gun at an open space until the water is completely drained. Then, store the equipment in a dry, well-ventilated place with a suitable temperature, avoiding direct sunlight, and humid, or cold environments. If the storage time is relatively long (more than one month), it is recommended to apply an appropriate amount of anti-rust oil or lubricating oil on the surfaces of key components such as the water pump and the engine to prevent rust and corrosion. In addition, the high-pressure water gun, high-pressure water hose, and other accessories should be organized and stored together with the main body of the equipment to avoid loss or damage.
