Equipment Inspection
Inspect the overall appearance of the high-pressure pipeline dredging machine and check whether there is any damage, cracks or deformation on the machine body. Pay special attention to the integrity of the housings of key components such as the high-pressure pump and the motor (if it is an electric type).
Check the high-pressure hose and signs of wear, scratches, bulges or aging on its surface. Gently bend the hose to check for problems such as hardening and cracking to ensure that it will not burst under high-pressure working conditions.
Examine the spray nozzle to ensure that its spray holes are not blocked and that the connection part of the nozzle is firm and reliable. If the nozzle is damaged or deformed, it should be replaced promptly.
For an electric high-pressure pipeline dredging machine, check whether the power cord is intact without any damage, aging or exposed wires. At the same time, check whether the power plug is normal and whether the grounding protection is good. For a fuel-powered model, check whether the fuel tank has sufficient fuel and whether the fuel pipeline is tightly connected and without leakage.
Preparation of Protective Equipment
The operator must wear protective gloves. Select gloves with certain anti-wear and waterproof properties to protect the hands from the impact of high-pressure water and possible sharp object injuries.
Safety goggles are essential. They can effectively prevent high-pressure water from splashing into the eyes and avoid eye damage. The safety goggles should have good clarity and impact resistance.
It is recommended to wear anti-slip shoes because there may be water or debris on the work site during the operation. Anti-slip shoes can reduce the risk of the operator slipping and getting injured.
Site Preparation
Ensure that the work site has sufficient space so that the high-pressure pipeline dredging machine can be conveniently operated and the hose and spray nozzle can be moved. The site should have good ventilation. Especially when used in an indoor or enclosed space, it can avoid the accumulation of exhaust gas or water vapor, which may affect the health and vision of the operator.
Check the condition of the ground of the work site. The ground should be firm, flat and anti-slip. If the ground has a slope or is uneven, it may cause the equipment to be placed unstably and pose a danger of tipping over during the operation.
If the pipeline dredging is carried out on a site with drainage requirements, such as an indoor bathroom or kitchen, check in advance whether the drainage system is unobstructed and prepare corresponding drainage tools, such as a sewage pump, to deal with the large amount of sewage and debris discharged during the dredging process.
