1. Equipment inspection
Thoroughly examine the exterior of the crusher to ensure that there are no obvious cracks, deformations or signs of damage on the machine body. All connection parts should be tightly fastened without any looseness. Check whether the inlet and outlet are clear and free from blockage by foreign objects. Inspect the crushing blades to confirm the sharpness of their cutting edges. If severe blade wear or chipping is detected, the blades should be replaced or sharpened promptly. At the same time, check the transmission devices such as belts, chains and gears to ensure that their tension is appropriate, there is no damage and they are well lubricated.
2. Cleaning of the working area
Clean the working area around the crusher and remove any debris that might affect the operation or get mixed into the materials, such as tools, waste materials and dust. Keep the working site clean and spacious to facilitate operation and material handling.
3. Material preparation
Prepare the materials to be crushed according to the applicable range of the crusher and production requirements. Ensure that there are no impurities in the materials, such as hard foreign objects like stones, metal blocks or wood pieces, to avoid damaging the crushing equipment. For materials with relatively high humidity that exceeds the allowable range of the equipment, drying treatment is required to prevent adhesion or blockage of the equipment during the crushing process.
